Scope and who is responsible
This Privacy Policy explains how Anastasia Aleksandrova, operating Songico (“Songico,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), collects, uses, discloses, retains, and protects personal information when you visit our website, contact us, submit a story, use a preview or recipient page, or purchase a personalized song.
Songico is responsible for deciding how personal information covered by this Policy is used. This Policy does not apply to a third-party website, platform, or service that has its own privacy policy.
Our core promise: we do not sell personal information, share it for cross-context behavioral advertising, or publish a private customer story or song without separate, explicit permission.

The information we collect depends on how you use Songico and what you choose to share.

- Name, email address, and other contact details.
- Order and transaction
- Package, price, currency, payment status, billing details, delivery choices, and order history.
- Story and recipient
- Recipient names, relationships, memories, dates, locations, messages, preferences, pronunciations, and other story details.
- Creative material
- Text, photographs, voice recordings, audio, lyrics, notes, and files you choose to submit.
- Communications
- Support requests, feedback, revision instructions, consent records, and correspondence.
- Technical and usage
- IP address, browser, device, operating system, approximate location derived from IP, pages viewed, timestamps, referring pages, errors, and security events.
- Cookie information
- Identifiers and preferences stored through cookies or similar technologies used for essential operation, analytics, or choices you make.
- Inferences
- Creative preferences inferred from the genres, moods, occasions, voices, and other options you select.
We collect information directly from you, from another customer who provides information about a recipient, automatically from a device or browser, and from providers that help process an order or protect the service. Please share only what is reasonably needed for the song and avoid unnecessary sensitive information.
Payment-card numbers are handled by the payment provider offered at checkout. Songico does not store complete payment-card details.

How we use information
We use personal information to:
- provide previews, create and deliver personalized songs, lyrics, artwork, videos, and reveal pages;
- process orders, confirm payment status, provide support, and manage revisions, cancellations, or refunds;
- communicate about an order, a service change, security, or a request;
- personalize creative output using AI-assisted tools, human editors, and professional producers as applicable to the selected package;
- verify permissions, prevent fraud and misuse, secure the service, debug errors, and enforce our Terms;
- maintain records, comply with legal obligations, and establish or defend legal claims;
- understand and improve the service using aggregated, deidentified, or limited usage information; and
- send marketing only when you have opted in, with an unsubscribe option in each marketing email.
We do not use a private story, photograph, recording, or finished song in public marketing without separate, explicit permission.

California privacy choices
We provide the following choices to California residents even when a particular statutory threshold may not apply to Songico. Subject to identity verification and lawful exceptions, you may ask us to:
- confirm whether we process your personal information and provide access to it;
- identify the categories of information collected, sources, purposes, and categories of recipients;
- correct inaccurate personal information;
- delete personal information;
- provide a portable copy where reasonably feasible; or
- stop marketing communications.
Submit a request to songicoapp@gmail.com. We may ask for information reasonably necessary to verify your identity and authority. An authorized agent may submit a request if they provide proof of authorization and we can verify the request. We will not discriminate against you for exercising a privacy choice.
Sale, sharing, and preference signals
Because we do not sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising, there is currently no sale or sharing from which to opt out. Where legally applicable, we treat a recognized Global Privacy Control signal as an opt-out request. We do not currently respond to legacy browser “Do Not Track” signals, which do not have a uniform industry meaning.
Updating your information
You may request review or correction of personal information associated with an order by contacting us. We may retain limited information when needed to complete a transaction, protect security, comply with law, resolve disputes, or enforce agreements.

How long we retain information
We use the following standard retention periods unless a longer or shorter period is reasonably necessary for security, an active dispute, legal compliance, or a request that we can lawfully fulfill sooner:

- Three years after order completion.
- Stories and creative files
- One year after delivery.
- Support messages
- Three years after the communication.
- Technical logs
- 30 days after collection.
- Marketing records
- Until you unsubscribe, plus a minimal suppression record to honor the request.
- Consent and legal records
- As reasonably needed to document permissions, comply with law, or resolve a claim.
When retention ends, we delete or deidentify the information using reasonable measures. Limited copies may remain temporarily in protected backups until their normal deletion cycle completes.

Security and international processing
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect personal information against unauthorized access, loss, misuse, or alteration. No internet transmission or storage system is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Songico is operated from Thailand. Information may therefore be processed in Thailand and in other countries where selected service providers operate. Privacy and data-protection rules in those locations may differ from those in your location. We use reasonable contractual and operational safeguards appropriate to the information and provider involved.

Children’s privacy
Songico is intended for adults and is not directed to anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from a person under 18. An adult customer may include limited information about a child in a family story only when the adult has authority to do so and the information is appropriate and necessary for the requested song.
If you believe a person under 18 submitted personal information directly to us without appropriate authorization, contact us so we can investigate and delete it where appropriate.
10 / Updates
Changes to this Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes in our service, providers, or legal obligations. We will post the revised Policy, update its effective date, and use a reasonable additional notice for material changes. We will not apply a materially different use to information already collected without additional notice or consent when required.
